Relax and Restore
How long has it been since you took time out for YOU? Statistics say stress takes a toll on your physical and mental health.
Massage helps to release the tension that is stored in your body and mind. Let yourself experience how good it feels to let go of your stress and feel good again!

Sleep Peacefully
When is the last time you slept like a baby? Did you know
studies have found that an hour massage is equivalent to two
hours of sleep?
So if you’re having difficulty clearing your head or
relaxing, treat yourself to a 60 minute relaxation massage or a
craniosacral therapy session and rest well!
Feel Revitalized
One of the most interesting things about massage is that it can be very relaxing as well as energizing!

What Is The Craniosacral System?
The craniosacral system provides a carefully controlled environment for the brain & spinal cord, which protects & enables them to function effectively. It is comprised of a semi-closed hydraulic system that produces, circulates & reabsorbs cerebrospinal fluid.
What Is CranioSacral Therapy?
CST is a gentle, hands-on approach that is used to evaluate & enhance the function of the craniosacral system. It was first discovered & developed in the mid-1970’s by Dr. John Upledger, who conducted studies on CST for nearly a decade while serving as Professor of Biomechanics at Michigan State University.
How Does It Work?
Craniosacral practitioners are trained to “tune in” to the subtle movements of the craniosacral system. By using a very light touch (generally no greater than the weight of a nickel!), the practitioner is able to discern & correct imbalances in the ebb & flow of the craniosacral rhythm. Restrictions are then released, thereby improving the function of the central nervous system.
What Is It Like?
During a typical craniosacral session, the patient lies on his back
and is fully clothed. Loose, comfortable clothing is recommended. The
treatment begins with a very light touch applied to specific points on
the body called “listening stations”, which help the practitioner to
assess the craniosacral flow.
The process is very gentle; unlike deep
tissue massage CST does not force a reaction from the body. There is no
cream or oil, no “slide” or “glide”. The patient becomes deeply relaxed
and may even fall asleep during the treatment. CST has been described
as hypnotic, meditative, even spiritual.
Many patients are surprised to
find that such gentle body-work could be as equally effective in
relieving pain as deep tissue massage can. CST is so subtle that some
people feel as if nothing is happening during a treatment session,
however, they are usually very surprised at the remarkable difference in
how they feel afterwards.
What Can CranioSacral Therapy Treat?
CranioSacral therapy complements the body’s natural healing process and is helpful in boosting the immune system. It can also ease migraines & tension headaches, chronic neck & back pain, sinus issues, chronic fatigue, emotional imbalances, stress & tension, fibromyalgia, TMJ Syndrome (jaw pain), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Post Surgical Disfunction (scar tissue & adhesions). Children who have been diagnosed with autism & ADD / ADHD have also responded well to regular CranioSacral therapy sessions.
